Follow the blog circle to see some amazing work by some very talented photographers. 11 on 11 is a project we started to document more memories of our own lives and children. I chose this month to showcase bath time and nap time…very popular activities in my house. Also, this is my first attempt at the dreaded self-portrait. I much prefer being behind the camera but alas, my 3 lovelies might want to one day remember what mommy looked like….so here ya go kids…Everything I do, I do for you. kids photographer

geesh, these are all jaw-dropping. LOVE the bathtub ones, love your gorgeous daughter’s lips and eyelashes (GAH!!) and love seeing a glimpse of your beautiful face, too.

Oh Anne…..am lost for words, and that doesn’t happen very often, right?! These are just divine. Your use of light lately has been insane. The light and the stunning processing in the bath pics is perfection. But the one of your baby touching her toes. Sigh. It has to be one of the best photos I have ever seen. I want to hang it on my wall and shes not even mine, thats how pretty it is. Just beautiful work, my talented friend. x

New Years Resolutions are often NOT quite above and beyond what you should be already be doing, right? You know, like organizing your home, getting your butt to the gym, or making time for something you enjoy. For a lot of photographers a resolution often is to take more pictures of our own families (ironic, isn’t it?). Or maybe not. I’m very fortunate to be part of an amazingly talented group of photographers who have all resolved to do this with me. Together, we are all motivating & challenging eachother to post 11 images or our family on the 11th day of the month. Here’s to sticking to it my friends!
